Initial motion on drug testing issue at March 27, 2008 meeting
Mr. Smith moved to approve for the City Attorney to work on developing a policy to
include Elected Officials and Planning and Ethics Commission members within the drug
free workplace requirements for voluntary, random drug and alcohol testing, Mr. Brown
seconded and the vote was unanimous.
Mayor Buelterman asked why those two groups. Mr. Smith explained those are the
only two groups sworn in to uphold the Charter and the Constitution of the State of
Georgia and the United States of America.
The vote was unanimous.
